Kilimanjaro Fundraiser

Right, seeing as you’ve all been paid, you’ve got no excuse. I’m climbing mount Kilimanjaro in August to raise money for The Myton Hospices, a local charity which provides support to terminally ill people. They also have a specific fund for terminally ill children, and help to support children who have recently lost family members. It’s a superb organisation.

I am trying to raise 3 grand personally – as a team, we are trying to raise nearly £30,000 – enough to pay for a support worker for an entire year. So far I’ve got about £1000. If everyone following this blog gave just £5, My fundraiser would be practically done. It’s like buying me 3 drinks or something, I don’t believe there’s a single person reading who couldn’t afford that.

Of course, if you want to give me more, that’s fine. If you can’t stretch to a fiver, just give what you can. If you’ve already contributed, contribute some more. The money goes straight to Myton, so there’s no shenanigans. The link is: – feel free to pass this on to others who might want to donate.

Thank you everybody.
